Don't forget to register, sessions are filling quickly!

We are so excited to welcome so many new players for our 2025 clinics! Sessions are getting close to filling up but please make sure to get on the waiting list because we may be able to make some adjustments in order to accommodate as many players as possible.


Girls Beginner Volleyball  Grades: 3 – 7 (please see below criteria)  |  Cost $85

 1/4/25—1/25/25 |  Saturdays 12pm—1:30pm

 

We will focus on learning the basic skills of volleyball and introducing game play. Players will be grouped with other players of similar skills and ages so we can meet the players where they are and help them grow at their pace. I

Criteria: If your child has 1 YEAR or less of VOLLEYBALL experience OR is

serving FROM the 10-foot line TO half court, they should be in THE beginner session. 

 


Girls Intermediate Volleyball  Grades: 5 – 8 (please see below criteria)  |  Cost $85

1/4/25—1/25/25 |  Saturdays 1:45pm—3:15pm

 

We will focus on fine tuning basic skills of volleyball, learn survival skills (ex. playing off the net and diving), and various game play skills (ex. reading players, anticipating ball movement rather than reacting, and how to move on the court for offense / defense). 

CRITERIA: If your child has 1 or more years of experience and is serving near or behind the end line, they should be in THE intermediate session. 

 


Boys Volleyball  | Grades: 3 – 8 | Cost: $85 | 1/4/25—1/25/25 | Saturdays 12pm—1:30pm

Players will be grouped with other players of similar skills and ages so we can meet the

players where they are at and help them grow at their pace. Whether it’s their first year

playing or they have been playing for a few years, this session will help excel basic skills and integrate important game play lessons.

We're Back and soooo excited to welcome new and returning volleyball extraordinaires!!!

First and foremost, congratulations for a fantastic volleyball season for our players that made their school team and those who played with RYVL! It was so much fun seeing our players in action (many for their first time in competitive settings)!


Also, congratulations to all of our players who made a club team!!! It was a VERY competitive year for tryouts for both school and club and I'm so happy to see so many of our players thriving! Let me just say, Webster is representing in the club scene in a big way this year!


EXCITING NEWS... We have revamped the rec center program for boys and girls!!! Our goal is to provide more direct player support by meeting players at their level and helping them excel to the next level at their own pace. With that, we have a spectacular addition to our coaching staff and can't wait to introduce you!

Registration opens December 1, 2024! Make sure to read the session descriptions to make sure you're registering players for the appropriate session. Players do NOT have to be Webster residents or students. Also, sessions tend to fill up so don't wait until last minute or you might miss out. If the session is full, please be sure to get on the waitlist (many times we can make accommodations and this helps us with planning for following sessions).

I may try to squeeze in some volleyball open gym time slots before we start in January and will send out an update if I'm able to secure some gym space. If not, I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving and a very Merry Christmas!

Webster Rec Center Co-Ed Summer Sessions


July 9th - July 30th:


Grades 3-5 (beginners), Tuesdays 6:30p-7:45p


Grades 5-7 (experienced), Tuesdays 7:30p-8:45p


August 6th - August 27th:


Grades 3-5 (beginners), Tuesdays 6:30p-7:45p


Grades 5-7 (experienced), Tuesdays 7:30p-8:45p


Beginners in grades 6-7 are welcome in the later session so they are playing with peers their age. We have some 2nd graders that join us for the earlier session as well. We are very flexible with the criteria because our goal is to provide playing opportunities for all who would like to! Players do NOT have to be Webster residents to join us. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.
